“Ashling” means “dream” or “vision” in Irish Gaelic. The Ashlings want to be a part of your dream for your special day. Guitarist and singer Laurel Brauns, and cellist Amy Mitchell create a sound that is both classic and contemporary, for brides that want to mix tradition with something a little edgier, something that is unique to them.
Listen for yourself on the player to the right. Songs range from time-honored processionals and recessionals, to new twists on wedding songs like selections from the Cure, Oasis and Neutral Milk Hotel.
Our favorite challenge is a bride who has her own requests for the songs she’d like to accompany her march down the isle, or her first dance. You have your special song, and chances are, we can learn it!
